Issued between 1910 and 1912 the P2 Sweet Caporal set includes 152 players and many variations making quite the challenge for even the most persistent collectors. Measuring at 7/8 inch in diameter these pins feature excellent black and white images of the most popular baseball players of the era and borrow most images from the T205 tobacco set. Featuring Philadelphia Athletics Hall of Fame member Eddie Collins in his usual slightly dopey expression this sample from the P2 set is in “near mint” condition. This is yet another strong sample from the set with bold visual appeal.
