Certainly one of the more bizarre newspaper supplements we have encountered two such supplements issued toward the end of the 1938 season as part of a $500 contest. The entire team roster were "scrambled " and readers were encouraged to reassemble the photos until the entire team was complete identified and submitted to the paper accompanied by a 50-word essay. Each of the supplements display extremely well perhaps EX condition. The actual aesthetics of the pieces is of course debatable as there's not a single identifiable player image on either page. Still an interesting set of supplements indicative of how tightly woven baseball teams once were with their local media.
