Yankees' hero Joe DiMaggio contributed a home run to the 3-1 American League win in a game that featured future Hall of Famers Ernie Lombardi Arky Vaughan Joe Medwick Mel Ott Johnny Mize Billy Herman Red Ruffing Bill Dickey Hank Greenberg Joe Gordon Joe Cronin DiMaggio Bob Feller Lefty Gomez Lefty Grove Ted Lyons Jimmie Foxx Lou Gehrig Luke Appling plus umpire Cal Hubbard. Gehrig already out of baseball served as honorary captain. The ticket of course is a proof with no seat number printed on it to indicate location on the field. Without such identifying markings we cannot call it an actual ticket however it presents cleanly in EX condition with some minor wear at the corners and edges. Tickets from this era were certainly an art form and this example is fantastic.
