Lot Description  

1947 Wire photo depicting the "Brown Bomber " who struggled to a split decision victory in this title bout primarily because of aggressive attacks in the later rounds like the one shown in this photo Louis driving Walcott into a crouch with a right cross. Strong image with typical editorial markings on the reverse and some minor wear and waviness consistent with its intended use.
