Interesting season pass to the 1929 St. Louis Cardinals issued to Reverand J.E. Thomas. The pass is in VG condition clearly used with significant edge wear along the bottom yet the piece itself presents extremely well. Clearly the ballclub issued enough season passes to clergy members to have preprinted passes with that specific designation in the upper-left corner; the good Reverend signed his name on the reverse in black ink to secure his right to visit Sportsman's Park for Cardinals games that season. An interesting Cardinals collectible from a subpar Cardinals season in which they finished in fourth place managed by Hall of Famers Billy Southworth and Bill McKechnie during a season in which the underachieving team boasted future Hall of Famers Jim Bottomley Frankie Frisch Chick Hafey Jesse Haines and Grover Cleveland Alexander.
