Attractive two-color advertising display sign promoting Yoo-Hoo Chocolate Drink dates to 1959-1960 and features both Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle along with the slogan "Me for Yoo-Hoo " and an image of a Yoo-Hoo can that depicts bottlecaps featuring Yankee players that were issued in 1959. Berra's affiliation with the Yoo-Hoo company is well-known as is the company's advertising relationship with the Yankees. By the 1950s the company was one of America's best known soft drink brands due at least in part to the endorsement of Yankees players. This cardboard sign measuring just shy of 9" wide by 12" in height displays as EX-MT or better with some very minor print snow in the logo on the front and a slight lower-right corner ding. An exceptional example certainly in stronger condition than that which this piece is typically seen.
