Outstanding example of a later-period card of one of the greatest football players of all-time. The 1966 Philadelphia football set was the only mainstream set to feature NFL players as Topps lost the license for NFL players in 1963. This set is considered by many to be the most of the finest football sets produced due to its simple and elegant design. Significant quality control issues plagued the set however and legend has it that many cards never made it off the production line due to QC issues creating a built-in scarcity. As a result high-grade examples are more difficult to find today.Given the issues with centering this Brown (which is very well-centered but with a very slight tilt) is even more of an anomaly; a beautiful card of one of the greatest players ever to grace the gridiron.Population data:PSA Population: 290 total graded 53 at this level 4 higherSGC Population: 41 total graded 2 at this level 4 higher
