Commonly recognized as the "rookie" card of Hall of Fame pitcher Kid Nichols published in the Sporting News as a supplement on May 6 1899. In outstanding condition with some minor wear at the top corners some small and insignificant tears at the right and bottom edge and an otherwise clean image front and back. M101-1 supplements are quite desirable in the hobby though misunderstood due to the inability of grading companies to put them in a holder. They are beloved by advanced collectors though because of their beauty and informative biographical information on the reverse.
