Thick pocket guide measuring 2 5/8" x 4 1/2" with 78 inside pages. Published by Emil Grossman & Co. of Cleveland for the Philadelphia North American the entire 1894 National League season has been painstakingly scored - runs hits and errors for every game. The book remains largely intact with some of the first pages having separated from its binding but still included inside. The heavy paper cover has protected the booklet from wear resulting in a remarkably complete and interesting account of the entire 1894 season. The 1894 pennant was won of course by the legendary Baltimore Orioles one of the greatest teams ever assembled featuring Hall of Famers Wilbert Robinson Dan Brouthers Hugh Jennings John McGraw Willie Keeler and Joe Kelley and managed by Hall of Famer Ned Hanlon. An extraordinary document of a legendary season one that is unlikely to turn up again any time soon.
