A strong higher-grade example with a tougher back this Reulbach is bright and bold with better centering and solid corners consistent with the grade. Reulbach author of a 182-106 record largely with the Chicago Cubs reeled off 43 wins between 1908 and 1909 and sported a 2.28 career ERA in 13 seasons. Big for his era at 6"1" 190 lbs Reulbach was known for his deceptive delivery. Despite his excellent statistics and his remarkable feats (Reulbach once pitched a shutout in both games of a doubleheader the only major league pitcher ever to do so). A member of the 1915 Newark Peppers Reulbach went 21-10 with a 2.23 ERA before moving to the Boston Braves in 1916 and retiring the following year.Population DataPSA Population: 11 total graded 2 at this level 0 higher*SGC Population: 8 total graded 1 at this level 1 higher*Please note that PSA just recently began to differentiate between T206 back variations in their population reports so it is entirely possible that other examples of this card may have been graded by PSA and classified in their pop reports as "unknown back."
