The quality control on 1948 Leaf cards was notoriously atrocious and as a result this auction features a number of different lots containing cards from the issue with print flaws. Upside-down backs incorrectly-printed fronts missing colors miscuts and indeed incorrectly-printed backs are all occasionally found with the issue. Presented are two such cards card #17 of Jack Johnson and card #25 of Abe Attell. Each card presents well if a bit off-center on the front. The back of each card contains the biographical information on the opposite fighter printed upside down. Clearly a severe quality control issue indeed though the result is two highly collectible cards more than half a century later. 2 cards total.
