I have one to sell!
One of the greatest players not in the Hall of Fame Lefty O'Doul was a dominant pitcher in the Pacific Coast league before an arm injury derailed his pitching career. He came back as an outfielder moving to the major leagues and hitting .398 for the 1929 Phillies. He retired after 11 seasons with a .349 lifetime batting average moving back to the San Francisco Seals to serve 17 seasons as manager. He was a San Francisco sports icon; a bar bearing his name is still a San Francisco fixture. Seldom-seen postcard bearing O'Doul's image wearing golf attire as issued by the Benjamin Franklin Knit-Wear company to promote their spring 1929 clothing line of sweaters hose and nitted neckwear. The postcard is in VG condition graded as such by SGC though the typography and image on the postcard are relatively unblemished.
