An exceptional postcard produced by the Block Brothers Studio and featuring Hall of Famers Rabbit Maranville Jesse Haines Grover Cleveland Alexander Jim Bottomley Frankie Frisch Chick Hafey and manager Bill McKechnie the 1928 Cardinals led the National League with a 95-59 record but were swept in the World Series by the Yankees. The postcard itself is in apparent EX condition with slight corner touches and light edge wear. Postally unused a small abrasion is evident on the reverse likely reducing its technical grade. A beautiful image and outstanding document of one of baseball's most historic and widely-collected franchises.
