December 21 1946 two-page letter from Hall of Famer Walter O'Malley to Branch Rickey regarding radio and television broadcast contracts for the 1947 Dodgers. Clearly the 1947 Dodgers season was poised to be an important one as it would be Jackie Robinson's first with the team. In 1946 Rickey and O'Malley were both minority owners of the team; eventually their differences came to a head and O'Malley eventually became president of the team buying out Rickey in 1950. The letter is in outstanding condition double hole-punched at the top for filing purposes. O'Malley's signature is clean and legible a fine example. COA from James Spence Authentication.
