Perhaps it is slightly misleading to call this lot a "pair" as the posters are actually stuck to one another somehow back-to-back. The more interesting of the two is the one that features Lee Meadows Rube Oldring and Bert Niehoff; that particular poster also features a very visible and bold Fatima ad. Irrespective of the poster attached to the reverse this one grades in poor condition due to tears at the folds as well as staining to the surface yet still displays well. The poster on the reverse depicts the "World's Greatest Skyline " that of New York City. The photo caption mentions the "anti-skscraper laws" that would prevent further buildings stretching to the sky but we all know how that worked out. As with the poster on the reverse this grades in poor condition due to staining creasing and wear at the folds however it displays very well one of the more interesting oversized photos of Manhattan that we have seen from the era. Two posters total though they are as mentioned somehow adhered together on the reverse.
