As is the case with all the smaller-sized Bowman issues from the Texas find included in this auction the 1950 Bowman set was originally stored in a photo album but at some point the cards were removed and transfered into traditional plastic sheets. The process of transferring the cards unfortunately resulted in corner flips and dings reducing the technical grade of the set. The cards themselves boast outstanding eye appeal despite the grade primarily because they were stored away for decades in their original photo album. As a result the cards have retained very vivid and bold color the bulk of the wear restricted to corners and edges along with centering issues typical for early 1950s Bowman cards.
