I have one to sell!
One of the set"s absolute key cards this card of Indians ace hurler Hall of Famer Bob Feller is one of the most attractive and highly sought-after cards in the set. Issued in 1954 by the midwestern hot dog company Wilson Franks cards from this set are among the most popular and highly regarded of all the many 1950s regional baseball card issues. 1954 marked a watershed year for regional card issues as the baseball card craze had fully taken hold in America and various companies took advantage by issuing their own card sets. This example of Feller graded NM/MT 8 (OC) by PSA is fantastically well-preserved certainly one of the highest-graded copies available. The MC qualifier assigned by PSA is obviously due to their perception of miscutting at the bottom however we question whether the qualifier would be better suited as an OC for extreme off-center because we do not feel the card has been miscut. Regardless the corners are unbelievably sharp for the issue the color is grand the card virtually pack fresh. Mr. Feller however should duck because he is about to be hit with a flying pack of hot dogs.*Population DataPSA Population: 93 total graded 7 at this level 10 higherSGC Population: 32 total graded 2 at this level 6 higher*All flying pack of hot dog jokes are made in honor of our good friend collector and hobby writer Chris Stufflestreet. Chris was a friend to many of us in the hobby and passed away tragically last year at a young age. Thanks to Chris we will never think of Wilson Franks cards the same way again.
