I have one to sell!
Well-known as one of the more scarce and popular of all the 1950s regional issues the 1954 Wilson Franks cards are plagued by significant condition issues due to being packaged in packs of hot dogs. This card of White Sox first baseman Ferris Fain has attained a grade of VG/EX 4 from PSA largely due to soft corners and centering woes. Still this example is exceptional in comparison with many other cards from the issue which are typically found in lower grades.Fain is depicted here with bat in hand preparing to defend himself against a flying pack of hot dogs.*Population DataPSA Population: 56 total graded 7 at this level 31 higherSGC Population: 13 total graded 2 at this level 8 higher*All flying pack of hot dog jokes are made in honor of our good friend collector and hobby writer Chris Stufflestreet. Chris was a friend to many of us in the hobby and passed away tragically last year at a young age. Thanks to Chris we will never think of Wilson Franks cards the same way again.
