The FAIR 20 assessment reached by SGC in this instance is somewhat misleading; though the card exhibits obvious corner wear and a very short but heavy abrasion on the right edge near Clarke's bat the grade is primarily the result of two separate ink marks on the scarce reverse. The initials "BL" have been added to the top third of the card with the letters "XO" in purple/blue ink along the bottom. Without these markings the card would certainly grade higher; with them the scarcity remains the same - just nine examples in total graded between PSA and SGC.
