Issued in 1910 the 30-card set referred to simply by their ACC designation of “E98” still remains a mystery. With color lithographs set against a solid background each of the cards can be found with four different backgrounds – red green blue and orange. Prior to 2012 the E98 cards were considered relatively difficult to find. The “Black Swamp Find” of that year flooded the hobby with more than 700 new examples each of high grade (and mostly with red backgrounds).
