Tremendous 6" x 9 1/4" scorecard for Oberlin College varsity squad which includes portrait photos of each of the team's players amidst the ads and scorecard (which pitted the Oberlin Varsity squad against an alumni team). Of particular note is the presence of right fielder and cleanup hitter Howard N. Robinson one of the few African-American faces one is likely to see in team photos of this nature. Oberlin was of course where Fleetwood Walker played in the late 1800s so the school had a lengthy history of acceptance of African-American players. The program is in excellent condition marked only with the game's run totals (Varsity won) along with some minor age-related discoloration on the cover.
