Undefeated in his first nine years "Harlem" Tommy Murphy was a New York native who never won a title but defeated many great boxers over his long career. The card is a collector grade example with pronounced wear and chipping at each corner (most notably at the bottom left) and a few tiny specks of loss on the card front just underneath Murphy"s extended left arm. The card is miscut off center top to bottom with the reverse dramatically off-center to the lower right to the point where the lower-left border is actually clipped. The number "60" is written in pencil on the reverse in the upper-left corner inside the border.
