The Home Run Derby set of 1959 was a 20-card issue that was produced by American Motors to promote the television program of the same name. The cards are extremely scarce and highly sought after when they become available. The 20-card set was loaded with sluggers from the era but none are more important (or more valuable) than that of Mickey Mantle easily the key card in the set. This example graded VG-EX 4 by PSA is extremely attractive for the grade with corner rounding being the primary condition flaw along with some light surface abrasions.
