I have one to sell!
Spectacular official 18-page scorebook from the 1914 Boston Red Sox featuring catcher Bill Carrigan on the cover. The 1914 Red Sox finished in second place behind the outstanding hitting of future Hall of Famer Tris Speaker along with stars Carrigan Harry Hooper (HOF) Duffy Lewis Dick Hoblitell and Everett Scott as well as pitching from Ray Collins (20-13 with a 2.51 ERA) Dutch Leonard (19-5 0.96) Rube Foster and Smoky Joe Wood. A young Babe Ruth would post two wins against a 3.91 ERA that season coming into his own as a pitcher the following season. The unscored scorebook is in excellent condition save for a fold down the middle consistent with being folded and placed in a pants pocket at a game. Some very minor staining is present on the cover and some minor paper loss is present on the reverse along the crease. However the piece displays tremendously well a wonderful document of the early Red Sox.
