Collector-grade pair of Hank Greenberg cards from the 1938 Goudey "Heads Up" set. The "Heads Up" issue featured 24 players issued in two formats: a first series containing a player caricature set against a colorized photo of the player's face and a second series duplicating the initial 24 cards surrounded by cartoon images illustrating biographical information about the player. While the high number (cartoon) cards are in higher demand it is actually the lower number series that is more difficult to obtain particularly in higher grades. These two examples both graded PR 1 by PSA are thus graded due to overall wear with some moisture damage particularly pronounced on the reverse of both cards. Despite this two stronge examples for the grade.
