Lot Description  

Pose #164-2 depicts St. Joseph Clay Eaters pitcher Thomas Flood preparing to deliver a pitch. Flood would post a 9-16 record with St. Joseph in 1889 his only season with the team and would be featured on six different N172 cards each listing St. Joseph as his team. Despite the GOOD+ 35 grade assigned by SGC the image contrast is exceptional. Some creasing is evident throughout the card however the quality of the photo more than makes up for it.
