Graded VG+ 45 by SGC this exceptional card depicts Chicago catcher Duke Farrell eventual owner of an 18-year major league career. The card's key feature is the clarity and contrast of the image which depicts the catcher crouching to retrieve a ball. All four edges are sharp and the corners square however markings along each edge suggest that the card was likely stored somehow in a scrapbook. Some minor soiling and blemishes on the reverse also detract from the technical grade however as with many Old Judges it is image quality that is far more important than technical grade - and this is an excellent example.
