The T207 card issue is a fascinating and underappreciated one containing front/back combinations with varying degrees of scarcity. The eight known backs in the set along with their scarcity are well-known. Far less is known about those T207s with blank backs however. The cards are extraordinarily scarce and clearly not intended for distribution as all the examples we have seen have been hand-cut. This example of Hall of Fame catcher Roger Bresnahan is particularly attractive. As with the other blank backed T207s we have encountered this appears to be hand-cut however carefully and also exhibits age-related wear at the surface and edges. This example is clean and despite the aforementioned wear is not as well-worn as most blank backed T207s that we have encountered.
