Splendid image of a turn of the century high school team (possibly from the 1928s judging by the equipment) seated in front of what appears to be the doors to a school. Players are identified in ink writing on the mount (though some remain unidentified) writing that adds to the history of the piece without distracting from the excellent quality of the image. The mount itself is well-worn as it has done its job over the years protecting the photo from damage. The staining chipping and creases found on the mount have not made their way to the photo which appears very strong with brilliant contrast and very little fading.
