At the time of David Cone's perfect game in 1999 just 14 perfect games had been pitched in the prior century. Since then seven more have been spun but a perfect game remains one of the most difficult single-game achievements in baseball. Presented are stubs from three of the 21 perfect games to be pitched in the modern era. Included are the following: 1) September 16 1988 Cincinnati Reds ticket stub - at Riverfront Stadium against the first-place Dodgers Tom Browning threw a perfecto striking out 7 and besting the Dodgers' Tim Belcher (who also threw a complete game giving up just 1 run). This stub presents extremely well EX to EX/MT condition and also comes with the parking pass from that same game. The parking pass is in Fair condition presenting very well but has several handwritten notations on the face. 2) May 17 1998 New York Yankees ticket stub - at Yankee Stadium against the Minnesota Twins David Wells threw his perfect game beating the Twins 4-0. On their way to their greatest-ever season where they would win 125 games en route to a World Championship Wells' perfect game was a highlight as he struck out 11. The stub is in EX/MT condition. 3) July 18 1999 New York Yankees ticket stub - just a year after his friend David Wells' perfect game Yankees pitcher David Cone faced the Montreal Expos at home defeating them 6-0. Cone struck out 10 winning his 10th game as the Yankees headed toward yet another Championship. The stub is in EX condition with some edge wear but still displays very well. Three historically significant stubs each memorializing one of the very few perfect games thrown in the modern era.
