I have one to sell!
1956 was a landmark season for Mickey Mantle. Up until then he had already established himself as one of the game's stars eclipsing .300 batting averages in three seasons hitting 20 home runs four consecutive seasons toppint 100 RBI in 1954 and coming awfully close in 1955. But 1956 was the year Mantle became a superstar winning the Triple Crown with a .353 batting average 52 home runs and 130 runs batted in and capturing the American League MVP award for the first of what would be two consecutive seasons. He led the Yankees to a seven game World Series victory over the Dodgers rebounding from the previous season's loss and in the process became a hero. This card is one of Mantle's most popular and we are proud to present a lovely midgrade example. Assessed at the VG-EX 4 level by PSA the condition flaws with this card are minor limited primarily to edge and corner wear with a slight centering issue. An affordable example of one of Mantle's greatest appearances on cardboard.
