Winger Bruce Ridpath played professionally from 1906-11, capturing a Stanley Cup with the NHA's Ottawa Senators of 1911. His career ended shortly after when he was struck by a car, suffering a fractured skull. As with several other players in this historic set, Ridpath died young at the age of only 41 years old. This 1910 Sweet Caporal Hockey Postcard of Ridpath, #14 in the set and his rookie card, exhibits rounding at the corners with areas of visible soiling at the top edge. Otherwise, this stunning card displays clean surfaces on both front and reverse and presents beautifully. Graded VG 3 by PSA it remains one of only 14 graded examples across both PSA and SGC's population reports combined.

Please note: our printed catalog displays "HOF" in the title for this card, indicating Hall of Fame status. This is incorrect as Ridpath is not in-fact a Hockey Hall of Famer.
