Skein Ronan was a defenseman who skated professionally in the NHA from 1909-16 with teams like the Haileybury Comets, Renfrew Creamery Kings, Ottawa Senators, Toronto Shamrocks/Blueshirts, and Montreal Canadiens. Ronan secured a Stanley Cup championship in 1916 with the Montreal Canadiens, the first in their storied history. He later appeared for the 1918-19 Ottawa Senators during one season of NHL action. This 1910 Sweet Caporal Hockey Postcard of Ronan, #26 in the set and his rookie card, exhibits rounding at the corners and otherwise presents beautifully with clean and attractive front and back surfaces. Graded VG 3 by PSA it remains one of only 11 graded examples across both PSA and SGC's population reports combined.
