Left-winger Don Smith played professionally from 1904-20, appearing in the NHA for the Montreal Canadiens, Montreal Shamrocks, Montreal Wanderers and Renfrew Creamery Kings. He enlisted to serve in WWI following his Montreal Royals' 1915-16 campaign, and later saw one season of NHL competition with the 1919-20 Montreal Canadiens upon his return from the war. This 1910 Sweet Caporal Hockey Postcard of Smith, #19 in the set and his rookie card, exhibits rounding at the corners and otherwise presents beautifully with clean and attractive front and back surfaces. Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by PSA it remains one of only 10 graded examples across both PSA and SGC's population reports combined.
