This SGC VG 3 grade shows modest corner rounding and a bit of surface residue, with centering pushed eastward. Its reverse has a pair of small stains, perhaps from the caramel candy itself. Hall of Fame pitcher Vic Willis wrapped his MLB career after this season (1910) and won 249 games, a remarkable number by modern standards, despite never leading his league in any single season! Cooperstown's Veterans Committee added him to their august halls in 1995.
This Love of the Game auction offers several key cards in collector grade from the tough American Caramel E91 sets, all colorful and some freshly graded. Many are stars that we rarely find offered elsewhere.
