Clean and beautiful card from the scarce regional set of Cleveland players that Num Num foods produced for 1952. Cards with tabs show the player name and set number on front, so thankfully some collectors left them intact. Steve's biography says a lot about what fans paid attention to in his era, from national origin to family size and card-playing hobbies. We can only imagine what it was like to be an "ardent western movie fan" and make your mark pitching for who was usually portrayed as the other team!

The PSA VG-EX 4 grade reflects its strong, clean borders, touched corners, and a bit of haze on the entry coupon details. Scarcity proves important when pursuing tabbed Num Num cards,  as the population report shows all of 14 Gromeks graded and just seven higher!
