Highly desirable outdoor N172 image of Brooklyn third baseman George Pinkney and catalogued as card #370-1, with terrific detail and depth by the standards of collector-grade Old Judge cards.

The SGC GOOD+ 2.5 grade speaks primarily to its tight cut along the right edge, chipping at the lower right, and somewhat rounded corners. The image is so good as to make those details of little concern compared to its exemplary picture. All six poses for Pinkney take place outside and make a solid argument for spending far more of the photographer's time there. Combined population reports show eight graded singles, with a few higher than this score, but not by much. His compelling card will look great in any Old Judge collection.
