From 1910-12 Sweet Caporal produced a large set of 152 players (with multiple variations bringing the size of the set to 205) on small 7/8" pin backs. Inserted into cigarette packs each pin contains a player photo along with name and team information on the front with Sweet Caporal advertising on the reverse.Though pinbacks of this nature are notoriously hard to grade due to their extremely small size the Cobb appears in roughly EX condition with strong edges and no visible rust. The reverse exhibits some wear but also no visible rust just slight toning and bending of the paper consistent with its age.A lovely example of one of the greatest players to ever grace the diamond.
