Drawn on art board and cut to a square measuring approximately 5 7/8" x 6 1/16", noted cartoonist Bill Gallo of the New York Daily News drew and dedicated this cartoon to prizefighter Archie Moore, the longest-reigning World Light Heavyweight Champion of all time. After his retirement from the ring, Moore became an actor and celebrity and was a noted humanitarian and civil rights activist. Gallon personalized the drawing in red ink, writing "To Archie with my best wishes - Bill Gallo, NY Daily News." EX condition.
