This SGC VG 3 rating reflects its strong central image, square corners, and even borders, front and back. A bit of print snow on its front and light marks on the reverse appear to merit the grade. Cuban catcher Julio Rojo played for Negro League and winter league teams for 20+ years, often as teammate to black and Latin players since inducted by Cooperstown. He continued coaching into the 1950s, with his official work ending a few years before he passed in 1958. It's fair to say few players were as familiar to local fans as Julio.
