Collector-grade portrait of Negro League star and Hall of Fame infielder Ray Dandridge, often called the best third baseman in NGL history. While likely, this literal claim also sideshows his lengthy success in Cuba and Mexico. There's little doubt his fan base in those countries equalled those further north, considering how hard he pitched fellow Black Baseball players on the opportunities in Mexico's own up-and-coming league.

This well-loved SGC GOOD 2 remains easily legible on each side, in spite of obvious handling wear, and shows Ray in an "M" jersey. This adds interest for the late 40s Integration Era, as it could be Ray's minor league Minneapolis Millers home uniform, where he helped integrate the American Association at age 35. The SGC population report shows nine of these Dandridge cards graded, with just one higher. All told, this card should be interesting to Hall of Fame, Negro League, Cuban, Mexican, Integration Era, and type collectors, which is quite a list for something so humble!
