Hall of Fame infielder and accomplished hitter Billy Herman played pro ball until 1950 and then joined Brooklyn as a coach, which enabled Topps to give him this card from their tough 1952 high series. It catches Herman in a lighter moment than many of his cards as a player, which often show his serious side.
The PSA VG 3.5+ grade reflects some corner rounding, specks of surface wear along the front, a few print spots, and slight print tilt on the reverse. Great centering and good borders balance the overall look and offer an accessible way to get one of the 1952 Topps high number Hall of Famers.
