Browns pitcher Earl Harrist played his only season for St. Louis in 1952, going 2-8 for a perennial second division club. That was still good enough to pick up this first of two career Topps cards in that year's tough high series.
The PSA EX 5 grade reflects a bit of corner wear and some print speckling on his neck and nameplate. Near-perfect centering and clean borders give Earl a pleasing overall look. A big smile never hurt your chances!
