"The Duke of Flatbush" follows through along an outfield line, likely picturing more blasts over National League fences. He would start a run five straight 40+ homer seasons the following year, excellence matched by few other sluggers in baseball history.

This PSA NM 8 grade reflects this good centering (a touch southward), square edges, and corners that look fresh from their connection to an adjacent card. A nudged red printing pass creates tension between the stands behind Snider and the Duke himself, as his face remains clear and resolute. The population report shows just 12 higher, putting this among the best singles available.

Berk Ross of NYC issued 72-card sets in 1951 and 1952, each featuring a wide range of important baseball stars. Initially issued in pairs, similar to 1951 Topps red or blue backs, its high-grade cards bear those distinctive tabs that once linked them to another player. While desirable in either form, most in today's hobby have been separated into singles.
