Extremely scarce card type featuring a Hall of Famer, the Successful Farming cards advertise an Iowa-based magazine. It is theorized that the cards bearing the Successful Farming advertisement on the reverse were promotional cards, and that the cards distributed in the magazine were actually blank-backed, which helps explain the rarity of the back. Just a few dozen Successful Farming cards have been graded by PSA and SGC combined, with this being the only example of Bancroft to be graded. The technical grade speaks largely to corner rounding and light surface wrinkling, thought eye appeal is considerably stronger than the assigned grade.  An extremely rare card, and a very highly sought-after card type.
