Lot Description  

c.1940's photo of Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese posed at Ebbets Field with two young fans. Photo likely dates to sometime between 1947, when Jackie made is major league debut, and 1951 as the Dodgers began the practice adding numbers to the front of their home uniforms beginning in 1952. An endearing 8" x 10" photo of two Dodgers greats with visible handling wear at the corners. Barney Stein's personal credit stamping appears on verso with a label from the Pee Wee Reese Library affixed at the top. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA.
