Autographed 1949 Bowman of Hall of Fame second baseman Bobby Doerr, signed in blue ink pen. He appears here off a string of seven All-Star appearances and would garner two more before his retirement in 1951. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, the signature rates a perfect GEM MINT 10, the card graded AUTHENTIC due to a slight trim. Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions. The population report shows just 22 signed examples. Bobby lived nearly 100 years and held the "oldest living HOFer" title for an extended period.
