Issued in 1907 by the Morgan Stationery Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, the "Red Belt" postcard series is the first-ever color postcard set showing exclusively baseball players, and features members of the Reds and other teams and players they encountered. Assembled here is a collector-grade near-set, with each card presenting extremely well, in many cases postal use accounting for the technical grade. The entire grouping has been recently graded by SGC. Grades are as follows: SGC VG 3 (1 card): "Safe" (Jimmy Collins); SGC GOOD+ 2.5 (3 cards): Miller Huggins (Stadium Background), "Out to the Long Green," "Practise Makes Perfect;" SGC FAIR 1.5 (1 card): "In Consultation;" SGC PR 1 (4 cards): "A Home Run," "After A High One," "It's All in the Game 'Home'" and "Use Two if Necessary." Missing just "Hit and Run" for completion, plus the low buildings variation of the Huggins card for those who may be interested in a master set. Ten cards total.
