Richly colorful ballpark postcard featuring the exterior of Borchert Field in Milwaukee, WI. Opening in 1888, the park was most well known for being home to the Milwaukee Brewers of the American Association for five decades from 1902-52. One of the most attractive early ballpark postcards we've seen, the card depicts fans milling about outside the left field stands with wonderful period advertising behind and above them. Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by SGC, the postally unused card exhibits faint semicircle indentations to all four corners with some visible abrasion also present. A gorgeous Deadball Era ballpark postcard from the V.O. Hammon Publishing Co.
