High grade examples of any R312 player prove hard to find, in particular when hunting Hall of Famers or one of these distinctive multi-player cards. The set's oversized (5 3/8" x 4"), paper-thin stock left them vulnerable to a whole range of issues, yet this lovely group pose presents clean front and back, with a touch of corner wear and minor print artifacts at lower right. It stands alone atop SGC's population report at EX 6! Cuyler and Speaker each earned Cooperstown induction, with Tris among its first ten honorees.
This photo itself features a curious collection of players who never suited up for the same squad. Danny Taylor spent 1936 in Brooklyn and Kiki Cuyler in Cincy, with Speaker himself well into retirement. All three wear Cleveland's 1936 home uniform, something best suited to Tris, so perhaps those two out-of-town colleagues joined Tris for a local baseball event appearance. A number of teams held regional postseason and barnstorming tournaments whose rosters shifted to fit available talent. Perhaps further research will nail down its specific date and setting.
